Travel Fee

All service calls outside of the general Trinity, Trinity Oaks, Trinity West, Heritage Springs, Country Place area will incur a $XX Travel Fee in addition to regular parts and labor charges. Pricing reflects residential service ONLY!

Virus/Spyware Removal and 
Software Tune-up 

This service is highly complex and time consuming. If deemed necessary, these services will be performed in-shop at the technician’s discretion. In-shop service is much more thorough and may prevent re-infection.

We recommend the installation of Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Firewall software after removal services. Free software will be provided, but better quality commercial software is highly recommended.

Windows® Performance Tune-up

*Desktop PCs only. Laptop/Notebooks may incur an additional charge.

This service is for NON-infected PCs only.

Includes checking the hard drive for errors, removal of unnecessary files, startup and registry optimization, fix Windows® pop-up errors, update Windows® with all Security patches (this may require a high speed Internet connection).

Windows® Maintenance Tune-up

*Desktop PCs only. Laptop/Notebooks may incur an additional charge.

This service is for NON-infected PCs only.

Includes Performance Tune-up (as shown above) plus Interior/Exterior cleaning, clean all fans, cable connections, remove add-on (PCI) cards and clean/deoxidize contacts, clean the CD/DVD drive laser lens.

New PC Setup

*Hardware not included

Includes the complete un-boxing and setup of your new Desktop PC. We will activate Windows, configure user accounts, set up your existing Internet and email, and install a printer or scanner,

Note – Data transfer is available for an additional $19 ($39 separately) 

Operating System Install/Restore

*Software not included. Server Edition not included. Backup Service is not included.

  These services will be performed in-shop only. This service is very time consuming and often requires a high speed Internet connection for drivers and updates.

 Includes format/partition the hard drive and install a Windows® Operating System on your PC. Install all available drivers, updates, and Security patches. Configure an email account (if possible). Install basic (free) Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Firewall software (unless other commercial software is provided at the time the PC is picked up).

Onsite Operating System Install/Restore

*Software not included. Server Edition not included. Backup Service is not included.

This service is time consuming and often requires a high speed Internet connection for drivers and updates. If no high speed Internet connection is available, prior arrangements must be made so the technician has the necessary files on-site.

Includes format/partition the hard drive and install a Windows® Operating System on your PC. Install all available drivers, updates, and Security patches. Configure an email account (if possible). Install basic (free) Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Firewall software (unless other commercial software is provided at the time the PC is being serviced).

Broadband DSL/Cable Modem Setup

*Hardware not included
**Requires an existing high-speed Internet connection (modem) and account.

Includes the installation and configuration of your broadband modem to a single computer located within the immediate vicinity of the Internet connection. If the PC requires the installation of an Ethernet Network adapter Card, this work will be an additional $XX.00 labor plus the cost of the adapter.

Includes setup of your Email accounts and minor security updates. If the PC requires extensive security modifications, these issues will be discussed and additional labor may apply. Install basic (free) Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Firewall software (unless other commercial software is provided at the time the PC is picked up).

Wi-Fi Security Encryption Only

*Hardware not included
**Requires an existing, functioning high-speed Internet connection (modem), account., Wi-Fi Router (Access Point), and Wi-Fi Network Adapter on each wireless PC.

Includes Configuration and Security Encryption using WEP, WPA, or MAC Address Filtering of the Wi-Fi signal. Includes wireless printer sharing setup if applicable (this requires a printer to be installed on another PC – usually hardwired - within the local network). Install basic (free) Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Firewall software (unless other software is provided. Some commercial software installation may be billed separately).

Peripheral Setup

*Hardware not included

  Includes setup and full installation of your new printer, scanner, digital camera, webcam, etc. and accompanying software.

Software Installations

*Software not included 

Includes installation of your software from original, authentic CD/DVD. Includes all updates if available.

Note that software MUST be genuine! Under no circumstances will we install pirated software.

Memory Installation

*Memory not included

Includes installation of memory and memory scan to ensure everything is working properly. Memory purchased from us may be quoted with installation included.

CD/DVD/Floppy Drive Installation

*Drive not included 

Includes installation and configuration of a CD, DVD, or Floppy drive in your Desktop PC.

Hard Drive Installation

*Drive not included

 Includes installation and configuration of a hard drive as a secondary data drive  Hard drives purchased from us may be quoted with installation included.

Hard Drive Upgrade (Primary Drive)

*Drive not included

Includes hard drive installation as a primary drive. Includes data cloning (copying everything from your old drive to the new drive). This assumes the original drive is functioning properly (with no data recovery necessary).

Hard Drive Sanitation (Erasure)

Highly recommended to prevent Identity Theft if you are disposing or transferring ownership of a computer.

This is a data security process which completely and irrevocably wipes (erases) every bit of data on a hard drive. This is NOT just formatting or deleting files, but uses a custom device (made by Logicube) to overwrite everything on a drive with specific data patterns. This process meets Department of Defense standard DoD 5220.22-M for data sanitation.

*Note - this procedure is no longer acceptable to the DoD due to highly upgraded security standards which now require degaussing or physical destruction of the media; however, it is acceptable for non-military/government drive sanitation.

Add-on Card Installation

*Hardware not included 

Includes installation of a video card, sound card, etc. and all included software and configuration.

Data Transfer Service

Includes the transfer of data from one PC to another. This data will include your email (where possible), address book (where possible), pictures, documents, spreadsheets, etc. (anything you have created). We will also set up your email account on the new PC.

Note - Applications and programs will not be transferred and must be reinstalled from the original disk with this service. It is often possible to transfer existing applications from one PC to another using specialized software and cables. Please ask for a quote.

Data Backup

Includes backing up your pictures, music, documents, email, etc. and copying to DVD±R media. 

Note – DVD require a DVD Reader to access data.

Data Recovery – Initial Diagnosis

  Includes bench testing hard drive to determine whether any data can actually be recovered from the malfunctioning hard drive. Whether or not data can be recovered, this fee is required, as the recovery setup is time intensive.

Note – data recovery may not be possible because of physical or other damage. Outsourced drive rebuilding services are available – please ask.

Data Recovery

If data is recoverable and you elect to do so, recovery will be performed and data will be transferred to CD-R, DVD±R, or a Hard Drive (as demanded) at the rate shown. Media costs (CD, DVD, drive, etc.) are extra.

Training – 1 Hour

Includes hands-on, one-on-one training. Your choice of topics.
